These type of homepage works for big corporations but not for small therapeutic companies.

If you read the hero banner… it says very little.

For Vertex, that is fine. The company generated $12 billion in revenue in 2025. Its medicines are on the market, and its reputation reaches visitors before they read a single line. The homepage has no convincing left to do.

The problem comes when a small therapeutics company with 2-10 employees follows this route. The result is a headline that any drug developer in the world could have written.

For small Tx companies, every single word on their homepage matters because you neither have the trust nor experience Vertex has. And yet you need to convince investors and hospitals to trust you.

Yes, Vertex website looks clean but your goal is different, you need to convince people who have never heard of you to trust your claims. The best way to do so is with scientific content.

- Case studies showing your work

- Articles explaining the way your company thinks/works

- Your own data.

- Clear and very specific titles

Be specific, be clear, use numbers and show your data. That is the formula.

Talk to you soon,

Alejandra Carreira
